Iron ore consists of oxygen and iron atoms bonded together into molecules. To create pure iron, the ore must be smelted to eliminate the oxygen. Several tonnes of iron ore, charcoal and limestone are placed within a blast furnace, into which nozzles called tuyeres blow-in pressurized, super-heated air, which causes a chemical reaction, removing impurities and reducing the iron ore to iron.

After the above mentioned rigorous process, only the finest-grade ore with maximum Fe (iron) content and high-calorie imported coal go into our two high-capacity rotary kilns, ensuring higher purity and metallisation levels for our finished products.
